Valentine!

Today i want to talk about Ines&Ivan a.k.a. La Casita de Wendy. Ines and Ivan were my teachers at IED in Madrid when i was studying fashion design and with them i made one of my most fun projects, it was about Hello Kitty, so you can imagine it was one of my favorite projects ever!

I imagine La Casita de Wendy doesn´t need any introduction: they have been designing funny clothes and patterns for some years now, they have dressed Björk, done stationary, accessories... they sell in some of the coolests shops in the world. And everything they do is colourful, fun, original and with a sense of humour!

I lost sight of them for some time, but now they´ve just started a new blog! So if you want to have a look at their original prints, learn about their new collections and projects and get to know this cute couple better, this is the place!

Poppytalk handmade market!

Yay! chicadecanela is taking part in Poppytalk Handmade "Love Transforms: a Valentine´s & Wedding Market."

I have contributed a 5-piece collection based on "Le Chat, la Clef et les petits Secrets" only with some cute new features like vintage fabric bows for Cécile, wooden beads and merry little bells. Small pieces for Valentine´s Day!
